BREWING SKILLS, BUILDING FUTURES.
Real Hope Leeds CIC is a social enterprise dedicated to empowering refugees and asylum seekers. Our specialised training gives the skills, knowledge and qualifications to get a job in the UK hospitality sector. We arrange work placements in local cafes for our trainees, giving them vital experience. We also provide quality catering enabling a fair wage to be paid to some of our trainees. We know that fair employment offers refugees a brighter future, and we want to give Real Hope.

“I highly recommend this programme! I’ve learned how to be a barista and serve customers. During the training, I met many wonderful people and really enjoyed making coffee!”

Meet Arash
I came to the UK as an asylum seeker. During that time I saw how easily asylum seekers and refugees could be taken advantage of in the black market. They are not given their proper rights.
I decided that one day I would use my passion for food, and desire to help others, to equip refugees for work in the main economy.
This is why Real Hope Leeds was founded, to help people not get trapped in a “slavery” lifestyle of working in the black market, but to have self respect, dignity and a future. A Real Hope.
"Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime."
Would you like to see Real Hope in the lives of our refugee neighbours?
